SUPREME Court Case against Dr. Sebi THROWN OUT!

Learn the art of Google/ Brooklyn Supreme Court documents

AUTHOR: Steve - (USA)

I found the artical on Googel docs reporting the Brooklyn Supreme Court. I guess her was telling the truth.

Herbalist found not guilty in ‘fake’ healing case
By HAROLD L. JAMISON In a historical decision in Brooklyn Supreme Court Monday, a jury of six men and six women found Alfredo Bowman not guilty on two counts of practicing medicine without a license.
Bowman, affectionately known as Dr.‘ Sebi, director of USHA Herbal Research In~ stitute, 616 Pacific St., Brooklyn, was arrested Feb. 10. 1987, by Attorney General Robert Abrams’ office because ads placed in the Village Voice and the "Amsterdam News, claixned_ a cure for AIDS.
Simeon Greenaway, Sebi's attorney stated this was the first case of its kind in Brooklyn Supreme Court.
“What was significant about
the verdict,” Greenaway stated, “is the fatt that USHA's African Bio-Mineral Balance will now be recognized through
out h wor1d.”
described the African Bio-Mineral Balance “as a
dietary program that is consis~ tent with the African genetic structu're.”
The dietary program consists of natural herbal compounds, fresh fruits, vegetables and Jmces.
According to Sebi's testimony, “the compounds change the environment of the body through intra-cellular cleansing and replenish the cells bye causing cell proliferation, wherein new cells push out the old cells."
This process enables the body
to heal itself.
Greenaway described USHA’s concept of natural healing as one “on a collision course with the medical establishment."
Objections to the views being expressed by Sebi prompted the attorney general to wage a “fear and smear" campaign to discredit the reputation of_and
the USHA Institute, according_
to Greenaway.
Abrams proceeded with the case on the “erroneous assumption" that the compounds being marketed were medicinal. How
ever, no attempt was made to‘
ascertain the contents of the herbal compounds before or after the arrest.
During the trial Assistant General Barclay revealed that two undercover agents were sent to the institute on two separate occasions in an attempt "to entrap I into making medical diagnoses." After being briefed by a medical doctor as to the symptoms of a urinary infection and herpes, the under
cover agents Gail Malis and Michael Colon were wired with a small tape recorder. The tape recording, submitted into evidence by Barclay, failed to convince the jury that jdid in fact make a medical diagnosis. One agent's testimony, under cross examination by Greenaway; clearly stated that he did not receive the response fromjthat would constitute a medical diagnosis.
institute were practicing medicine. However, this was dispelled by testimony of Marjorie Thorne-Puckerin, a former USHA employee who testified that individuals were required to fill out the questionnaires to enable the institute to monitor clients health conditions, diet. and collect data for research
purposes.
Harry Dickson, Roger Marshall, Naimah Fuller, Zadia Ife
A questionfiaire used by] and Karen Selby, witnesses for
to ascertain the health of clients was submitted in evidence by the prosecution to su port its contentions that iand the
the defense, unequivocally testified to their improved health as a result of USHA’s dietary
program.

12 Excuses Black People Make...

12 Excuses Black People
Make to Not Mentor
Black Children:
  1. I'm too busy. I don't have two hours a year!
  2. I can't take off of work! Ever!
  3. I am working with my own children.
  4. I am busy at church or mosque!
  5. I am a teacher all day with those children so I can't be with them after school!
  6. I need money! Mentoring does not pay me.  I'm unemployed!
  7. I won't make a difference.
  8. Those children don't want to hear what I have to tell them.
  9. It's too dangerous!
  10. Somebody else can do it better than me.
  11. The job I have now is more important than mentoring Black children.
  12. I mentored a child, once, in 1967 or 1987.
We need mentors in Chicago because:
  • More than 400 people have been killed (370 by gunfire) so far this year
  • More than 2464 people have being shot, killed or wounded so far this year
  • Only 10 percent of Black boys at the 8th-grade level read at a proficient level
  • Unemployment for some groups of young Black men is 30%, 40%, 50%, 60% and 70%
  • 67% of the people in Cook County Jail and 58% of the people in Illinois Prisons are Black, mostly young Black men
  • Only 6 (six) out of 100 (one hundred) 9th-grade young Black men will achieve a 4-year college degree by age 26
So when I put out a call for men and women in Chicago to sign up to go into schools to mentor Black children and only 5 people showed up, then I understood why Black Americans are being run out of Chicago and out of the United States!!!
The five who showed up are (left to right)  Kenneth L. White, Shimika Sumlin, Attorney Lawrence Kennon, Mosea Harris and Will Davis.
Five people out of 1 million Black people in the Chicago area showed up to mentor hundreds of thousands of young Black men and women and boys and girls who are begging for support, nurturing and inspiration.  This is not going to work!  Was everyone else watching Empire?

There is still time for you to join us by calling 773.285.9600 or to meet us on Tuesday, October 27, 2015, 6:30 pm, at 3509 South King Drive, Suite 2B, Chicago, Illinois.  If you can spare two hours a year to save Black children, call us.

UNSPEAKABLE

This story of Richard Pryor life in the play Unspeakable, to me should
have been called Richard Pryor the untold story. I hope all my friends
and family could go see the things that we never knew went in the life
of funny man Richard Pryor. Things that would shock you & wasn't
mentioned in JoJo Dancer. The play could have been better if copyright
didn't fall in play concerning the telling of Pryor's jokes.

Don't listen to me go see the play for yourself &
let me know your thoughts.

POLITICAL POINT OF VIEW

President Continues His Negro World Tour

Contributing Correspondent: CDW
As Barack Obama, the first black President of the United States, continues on his Negro World Tour, it was only obvious that he would travel to one of his two homelands - the US being the other.
Last Tuesday, the native son of Kenya, Africa, hung out with his peeps to share some love and also address a few serious concerns with the progress of the Motherland and its challenges to be great. Barack was embraced and welcomed by all of Kenya. They held their big customary ceremony allocated for dignitaries, but of course, Barack's prestige as a head of state was much more special than any other foreign statesmen's visit to date.
He's one of them. He looks like them. He sounds like them. And he understands Africa better then past leaders who've traveled there - not to befriend or share sympathy, but to only abstract resources and make demands of this progressive, struggling country.
Past visitors have always infiltrated Africa with the notion of telling this rich and affirmed people what they should be doing or else. Barack came to share compassion. Yes, he spent time examining the conditions and unwanted mistreatments of women and children. But again, his reprimand was from a place of dignity and admiration for a country that is so very cultural with tremendous, untapped resources.

Kenyans are in awe of their presidential son as Obama's step-grandmother, Mama Sarah (center) watches on
President Obama wanted to give them encouragement. He expressed that as the world opens up to this new-found talent pool, be sure to control the destiny and dignity of this country - far past when he's out of the oval office. Barack knows how the forces of America and other nations have always robbed and looted foreign lands for their own personal and professional greed.
During Saturday's dinner, Kenyan President, Uhuru Kenyatta, described Obama as a president of historic consequence; an "engine to propel and transform the African continent." Obama joked that some of his critics probably believe he went back to Kenya "to look for my birth certificate," adding, "That is not the case." The trip to Africa was in part a homecoming for Obama.
He dined with members of his extended family. A dinner was hosted by Kenyatta at the State House, which followed a series of meetings to promote increased investment in agriculture, infrastructure and energy production. "I’m proud to return as the first U.S. President to ever visit Kenya while still in office," Obama said at a joint news conference with Kenyatta earlier in the day.
It was visibly obvious that Obama enjoyed his visit to Kenya, immensely, before heading for Ababa, Ethiopia. For this, I give my president a standing ovation and two fist pumps for acting like a real Presidential Negro.

SPECIAL EDITION

Most parents/grandparents/caregivers
are just too overwhelmed
to give special attention
to children in need.

This is one of the reasons why
children are caught in uncompromising situations
like gangs, teen pregnancy and drive bys.

The Link & Option Center
is one of Chicago's top organizations
that has taken matters into its own hands
and doing something about it.

TLOC has been doing so for 20 years!
This is where you come into play.
If you can't afford to donate your time,
then donate your resources.

Support the family.
Support children who will continue to have
a place to go when school is out
that is safe, productive and has their well being
in mind.

We at HLN have seen the quality of work this organization
continues to do and ask that you

save the date!

Put your money where your mouth is!
